When caluculating the greatest coefficients using the formula

T (T+1)/ T k = n-k+1/k x b/a

if their is a negative value in the question eg (ax-b)^n
do you include the negative in the formula for b/a?

dont know if that makes sense haha

depends.

greatest MAGNITUDE will include the negative.

otherwise a -90 is smaller than a 18.

most of the time they won't give you a negative however.
