Quick Q -

Is it too harsh or unsuitable for an essay for me to say that Hughes represents Plath as deranged?

EDIT - And also how about using the word psychopathic for describing how Hughes sees Plath?

It's not too subjective if you can back it up with quotes. :)
eg.

In "Your Paris" Hughes employs plosive consonants at the end of each phrase to emphasise Plath's volatile nature. This is witnessed within 'Your Paris/ Was a desk in a pension/ where your letters unopened/ Was a labyrinth. Where you still hurtled, scattering tears.' Once again, Plath’s destructive mentality is connected to her father's death in the form of a classical allusion of the Labyrinth.

Maybe find more sophisticated terminology? But 'psychopathic' does have a ring to it ahah.

Hope this helped!
