is the answer 7.5 units^2....uh no. I checked and it's supposed to be 6 units^2.its the answer 7.5 units^2 ?
No Parvee is right.Got it, posting solution.
Edit:beaten
Edit2: Parvee's solution except it should be + integral of 4-x bounded by 5 to 4 as area cannot be negative
But when you add it comes to 5?No Parvee is right.
mhm ok. Anyways, TY ALL
It's 6 when you add it up. integral of 4-x bounded by 5 and 4 is -1/2 so when you minus it, it adds on instead. But doesn't that mean the answer is 7, not 6??
oh wait, i had an adding up error, for the second bit i thought 8 - 3.5 = 5.5 sorry... *facepalm*It's 6 when you add it up. integral of 4-x bounded by 5 and 4 is -1/2 so when you minus it, it adds on instead.
Don't worry, you're not the only one that has facepalm moments loloh wait, i had an adding up error, for the second bit i thought 8 - 3.5 = 5.5 sorry... *facepalm*
