Just a quick question, you know how the UMAT test is independently timed. Does that mean that the whole test runs continuously for the two and a half hours, with the test conductors telling us to change to the corresponding sections at certain times of the test? Or does it mean that we'll get 65 min for section 1. Then stop. Suppose a minute interim. Then start section 2, etc?

An invigilator over the PA will announce the instructions, how to fill in the circles/id/name, beginning of the test, that you have X minutes remaining near the end of each sections, and then tell you to put pencils down, while briefly explaining the next section and then recommencing after a minute or two, etc.

The test is pretty much continuous from the start, except for the couple of minutes spent between pencils down and the explanation of the following section.

There will also be a clock that has been synchronised with the others in the front of your section (group of rows) with the finish time, and section shape (shape on the top page of every booklet so the invigilators walking past can see if your in the right section more easily, easier to get cheaters).

So yeah be sure to go the toilet, etc beforehand!
