Quicktime Annoyance (1 Viewer)

It may sound silly....but....
Does anyone know how to stop quicktime from loading at windows start-up? I rarely use it but it loads every single time I start my comp. [uninstalling it is not an option]

why dont you open quicktime and look in theoption where u can turn off "run at the start " or something

Start Menu -> Run -> Type in "msconfig"

Go to the Startup tab, and uncheck "qttask" (it will appear in the leftmost column).

Exit the Window. It will prompt you to restart. Do so, and Quicktime will stop starting up when you turn your computer on.

Or you could cut out the middle man and just murder Steve Jobs.

@Sashatheman: I'm not that crap when it comes to comps.
@insert-username: I did have a look at msconfig before I posted here....but I wasn't quiet sure what the consequences of deleting some of those programs would be....[I have had F'ed my PC at least once a month before through stuff like that...so I'm trying to be cautious with my laptop]

It would look something like this, depending on where you installed it: "qttask "C:\Program Files\Quick Time\qttask.exe" -atboottime". Just uncheck that and restart.
