I got offered BCom too

on the topic of transfer fredits from Usyd, can you get credit in commerce at UNSW for Political Economy&Govt subjects taken at Usyd? I'm thinking you can't, but just checking, thanks!
In a straight B Comm, You might be able to count them as electives. Check with the FCE. If I remember correctly, there's a rule in the handbook which allows you to count 2 subjects from another faculty as electives (or free options as they now refer them). However the only stumbling block is that it relates to doing subjects within UNSW faculties .

Otherwise, you should make a request to count them as gen eds.

Sarah: Yeah that's true, you could probably count one as a Gen-ed (only one because of the 6CP per faculty gen-ed rule)

Happy bday for tomorrow btw :)

Yes that's the rule.

You can do more JAPN units, they could come under your free electives (if you have any left)

I think the rule is 12UOC gen eds total.. No more than 6UOC from a single faculty in geneds. Only one (1) mainstream course(6UOC) may be taken as a gened, the two others must be 3UOC courses.
