Is it alright for me to abbreviate the title "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead" into "R+G" in my exams if I use the whole title first, then abbreviate the rest of the essay?
My teacher recently told us we couldn't and I thought that seemed very pointless. To write the whole title every time would present us with a massive disadvantage!
