type out everything it says on the sticker/ram chipsDemandred said:Hey guys, how do I find out the speed of my RAM? I got an extra 256 DDR stick lying around, I am just wondering whether I can add that in.
I am trying to see if the two different ram sticks has the same clockspeed. If I remember right, nearly all boards accept DDR, but you can't place two sticks with different clockspeeds.ogmzergrush said:Typically the mainboard documentation you received with the system will tell you what type of memory the board will take. Failing that, if you can identify the specific brand and model of the board this documentation can be retreived online, or you can check for support using http://www.crucial.com/ .
