Random Msn Virusy thing NEEEEEED URGENT HELP

Okay guys, I know there is already a thread about this, but I need major help. A random virus is going around, the 'rofl is this you' virus. It comes with a link and is accepted causing a virus to come. My sister accepted ours and now msn won't work and I can't get into hotmail either.
I tried doing the thing mentioned in the other thread, but it says that FxKelvir is not detected in my computer. No virus scanning thing has been able to pick up what exactly it is.
When I turn my computer on, it comes up with a box asking to run the virus. I think the file name is something along the lines of C:/WINDOWS/system32.exe or something.
Can anybody help me at all? I'm not too good with computers, and last night after this happened my friend told me to download AdAware, Killbox, and Hijack This. But yeah... I am really confused.
SOMEBODY HELP ME...
Thanks in advance.

How do I delete the temp and cache files?
Temporary files can be found in:
C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Local Settings*\Temporary Internet Files
Where <User Name> stands for your user name
* This folder may be "hidden"

You're using win XP right?
Click "Tools">Folder Options
Select the "View" tab
In the "Advanced Settings" box, look for "Hidden files and folders"
There select "Show hidden files and folders"

When I try to sign into msn it comes up as:
Sorry, we were unable to sign you in to the MSN Messenger at this time. Please try again later. 80072efd.

And when I try to sign into hotmail, it comes up with an error page.
'Sorry this page can not be displayed'

I can get into anything BUT hotmail and msn. How could I have disconnected my modem? In case you can't tell I'm not very computer literate. Is there a way for me to disconnect it without knowing and still being able to go to other sites, just not msn or hotmail?

Oh crap...its that bad is it? I just recently got it reformatted and now I have to do it again :p. This can't be good. Well, if anybody has anything else to add that could save the trouble, can you tell me...but, yeah. Major thanks to everybody who helped...or tried to.
