are there any specific parts of it that can be tested in 4u or that we should know?

Here's Brown's paper on the Riemann Hypothesis:
this isnt 4u hsc related, is it? :(

Rahul, the Riemann Zeta function was examined in the 1975 4 unit exam, and zeta(2)=pi^2/6 was examined last year. So the zeta function is related to 4u. The Riemann Hypothesis is related to zeta(z) because it says that the non-trivial zeros all have real part 1/2.
But we don't actually have to know any of that stuff do we? I mean, i did last year's pi^2/6, but i had no idea what the Riemann zeta function was (and i still don't now really). To me it looked just like plain old polynomials (well not plain, but you know what i mean).

my math teacher reminds us sometimes to do the easiest question first , so basically go from question 1-8, he tells us of a student he had who was really good at maths but he was also really cocky and he decided he would start the exam from the end and it ended up that he didn't finish a few questions in q1 and ended up not topping the state or something like that....

Imagine that! Not topping the state! I really don't understand how anybody could cope.
