Hey everyone!!

whilst in looking at this forum and predicted uais many are in the top 10 for at least 3 of their subjects (assuming more than 10 in a class) if this happens does a person necessarily get a uai above 80??

No not necessairly. Although there is good chances, as those in the top 10 generally work hard (generally). But it depends on alot of factors such as their school, eg if I was coming 10th in each of my subjects I wouldnt get a UAI of 80 (excluding the fact that there are only 7 in Engineering Studies)

By no means, if your school is rather large, or you do high scaling subjects such as ext maths or chemistry it is entirely possible to acheive a UAI even into the 90s.

It also depends on the calibre of students in your particular school to an extent.

not necc. for example, the person could go to a really bad school and being getting say 50 per cent for assesment tasks. if these tasks are not marked really hard then even if the person is ranked 1st they will still only get 50 in hsc!
