If you're ranked 1st for most of your subjects is there no point in getting an estimate?

as i have been told, there is no point
this is because the person ranked first internally will most likely get the highest exam mark and thus highest assessment mark - so your HSC mark depends only on external performance

There's still a point, but it'd have to be based on your trial marks to give you an indication of how you're going
