I need to know how to open my rationale!! i need help its killing me!!

My logs are up to date and my monologue is fine now.. but the rationale i have scrapped and decided to start over!! ITS DUE TOMORROW MORNING AT 8.30!

Actaully, what is the rational for? I still dont understand its purpose.

ok so you know that log book thing?

Yes well.. basically this is how i look at it.. your rationale is everything you have in your logbook summed up into 300 hundred words.

It is specifically about your monologue and performance, character, staging, physicality, make-up, costume, lighting, what you hoped to achieve, why you chose that monologue.

It looks a lot harder then it seems.. but i ended up getting mine down within the hour- DONT do what i did and leave it til the night before though!! you will be kicking yourself otherwise!!!

haha, I left mine till the day of, not the day of our performance, but the day our logbooks were due.

The way I see it, there's no point stressing over the rationale, it doesn't have to be like band 6 english type stuff.

Our teacher gave us some ratioanle's of a few past band 6 drama students and I basically just read them and included everything they did, only applied it to my piece and what i wanted.

look up on google sample hsc packages, they got different bands etc

for your rationale say what you did and why. remember the why part its very important
