Hey does ny1 kno wat the band 6 cutoff for economics is? or is a band 6 just a 90?

i think it varies from year to year, band 6 in the traditional sense is 90+ , but assuming how every one goes it may be different just a hypothetical situation assuming the state achieves relatively low marks as a whole due to the hardness of the exam of anyother issues the band marks will be lower and if many people blitz the exam the exam band for 6 will be higher. i maybe wrong and if i am someone please correct me.

I'd guess a raw mark of low 80's would allign to band 6.

I hope how 80's would align to a band 6.
I would have though the aligned marks would be down compared to the raw mark since economics is relatively easy compared to say chemistry or physics.

It varies from subject to subject... i.e. a few years ago in physics an exam mark of 87 was aligned to 95...

But that doesn't matter as it's not calculated in your UAI... so the best thing to do is not think that you can sell yourself short... just do the best you can.
