yes if you have tutors and decent teachers maybe you could get away with it.

ive got away without reading most of the texts this year, been getting 90+. its a tried and tested formula, im not about to stop. but i spose everyone is different and some may prefer to read them. if the texts interested me i probably would read them
If you had read them then you'd likely have gotten higher - thats pretty tried and tested as well. And it isn't just about "prefering to read", its what you sign up for when you do the course - lots of reading, its even part of the course requirements that you do "wider investigation" ie reading a busload. So regardless of how well you do, you should never not read the texts just because you find them boring.
