I got 178 UMAT..screwed the HSC = 98.95...nd had a good interview. Should i cling to hope for UNSW Medicine place? Or cut my losses and change my preferences?

Only if you did extremely well in the interview, because you are now very close to the interview threshold for unsw.

What would you change your preferences to...? Apparently you want to have a career in medicine but since there's a chance you wont get offered a spot your going to change preference?

You know if you don't get offered a spot they will offer you your next preference...
