I go to Pennant Hills High, a good school but not a selective. not sure its rank last year

Ext 2 English
Rank: 3/7, think mark is about 35+/50 (not so sure aboout the final assessment mark)

Ext 1 English
41/50 Rank: 2/21 (but I don't think i am gonna perform well in this at all)

Adv English
90/100 Rank: 3/89 (don't think i can achieve the same in the real HSC as well)

Ext 1 Maths
74/100 R: 13/40

Ext 2 Maths
50/100 R: 9/12 (raw independant paper trial mark)

Chemistry
76/100 R: 16/44

Physics 68/100 (raw) 87/100 (scaled) R: 4/35

French Continuers (Open High School) 79.5/100 R: 28/67

a prediction would be good. Got the UAI seeker but I keep having the feeling that it overestimated my UAI. I wanna see what you guys think. Thanks

hey... i do the same subjects as you (minus french) and my rankings are slightly worse, but at a better school. im looking at high 97 - mid 98, so i think you'll get anywhere from 95+...

do you know how easy or hard it is to get over 90's??
but how come I've got similar marks to other ppl, but with a lower rank. and their predictions are like 70's and 80's? Why would I be getting 90's then??

umm... im at north sydney boys

but seriously, you do fucking hard subjects, you got to be realli realli smart to do both 4 units (hehe), and if you can keep your head up you'll do good

these are my specs, and im looking at high 90's

math extension 2: 18/60 75%
math extension 1: 40/120 85%
english extension 2: 19/33 (i think i'll get like 90%)
english extension 1: 7/65 88%
chemistry: 15/49: 75%
physics: 22/85 80%

with the marks that you've got, you are definitely getting the high 90's!!

So what did you do for you Extension 2 major work?

i did a childrens story, wrote pretty much the entire thing in a week... fucking unorganised, its ridiculous.

My English Band 6 dream has gone to ashes... as I have stuffed up badly in my Advanced Paper 1.

are you now sure that 90+ is still possible? :sob:
