I have up to 500 words to state my reasons for applying for a course. What can I write except for 'I really, really want to do it and this uni is great and that's why I'm choosing it'.

Can anyone think of what they might like to hear? I don't think they'd give much weight to it, but I may as well try to write something decent.

If I were on the receiving end, I’d probably want to hear an honest and well articulated response. Touch on areas such as how the university environment is right for you, how the course fits with your life goals, and possibly any quirky stories of how that particular course caught your attention. And remember, simplicity with a speck of colour always makes a statement!
