hey

i was thinking of applying 4 a recheck of my IT paper...cos all yr ive been getting 80s-90s in IT n came 1st in the course at my school.... n i was really xpecting alot better than 73... is it worth sending? is it likely 2 change?
and is it likely that i could end up losing marks when its rechecked??

Anyways I did IT last year and I got less than I had been getting...76 or something I don't remember if that's right but meh. ummm it's worth getting checked if you really want to make sure, I don't think it's likely that you will have marks deducted, though it may be equally as unlikely that you will be given any more marks. It's really up to you, it doesn't cost too much if you really need it for piece of mind. Though I wouldn't be worried that your marks were under those you were getting at school, totally different marking etc

i would recheck it! i came first at my school too and i got a band 6 in the exam so if you feel that its unfair, do it.

i dunno about it lowering marks tho.

they can't take marks off, your mark can only either stay the same or rise.

however, methinks the chance of it rising are pretty slim (I don't think they actually remark the paper, I think they just recheck the calculations of marks, making sure they haven't missed any marks or pages when adding up your score)
