hiya.

how far do we go in referencing sources?

for The Door and Sky-High, i've read some essays that only say the title and author. do we need to remember the dates they were published?

also, how much do we need to say for the play Away. our teacher said to say as much as possible. but really, i can't be bothered to remember every single detail.

is this ok:

"Away by Michael Gow, Currency Press, 1986."

It doesn't really matter for prescribed texts how you reference it

When referencing supplementary materials, you also gotta put the country of origin. I like to work in what kind of text type it is, eg short story, newspaper article

country of origin I was not aware of. I always thought it was title, author, text type, year.

does anybody else reference with country of origin?

somtimes i add in the city published, such as with Away i'd add a a "Sydney" after the publisher.

I never reference with county of origin either
