Don't take it the wrong way. Maybe he/she is being too critical of him/herself. Maybe he/she was distracted by watching TV or whatever.

I don't mean anything to be taken personally.

Anyways, my first draft was dogs bollocks in some parts, and I spent a long time editing. Good editing is just as important as a good story.

I thought 'dog's bollocks' was supposed to be a good thing... at least, the only time I've ever heard it used before was in a good context (it was actually a comedian doing stand-up about it - "who the fuck would walk up to something and go "how good is that! That's just the dog's bollocks, that is!")

I thought it was bad, as bollocks is slang for balls.

"I absolutely ballsed that up!"
"I bollocked that!"
"That's bollocks!"

etc.

But you get the idea.
