Well the scenario is my maths is atrocious

Well when u get a question, which side do u shade?

Whats the difference between testing (0,0) or (1,1)

If i understand what you are saying correctly...

Say you were told to graph a region where x > y . First you grap the line as if it was x = y. Then you pick a test point on either side of the line and substitute it into the orignal equation, in this case x > y .Now one of those sides, or test points, has to make the equation true. It is this true side that you shade.
