We booked outside of the schoolies website, so we found our own accommodation up at the gold coast.

Anyone that has been, do you have to register or anything. ive heard about some people getting wrist bands so volunteers know you are a schoolie?

does anyone know anything about this?

we got next sunday the 27th november btw

sounds like a way to keep track of people going on schoolies... very suspicious...

eh.. im sure a volunteer would help you whether yur schoolies or no - and what else do you need it for exactly?? Plus if you walk into a grog shop or bar with it on, all the signs will flip over and be double the price...

but yeah good thinking about not registering for schoolies for prices and stuff. i just cant wait till i get up there. going to be so good.

oh yeah... i got a backpack for clothes and a suitcase for spirits i dont plan on buying up there.. they would jack up the prices anyway, but i reckon those wristbands would make it worse still...
