Hey Guys I"m new to this..

just wondering is doing a movie for my related text any good?

i'm thinking about doing the movie " Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift"

any ideas? :cool:

If anyone has done it , notes would be heaps useful

You can do a movie for your related, as long as it isn't the same text type as your AOS text.

Ask your teacher if they can provide you with a list of good related texts for belonging :) It should narrow your search considerably.

If it's for Belonging I would perhaps reconsider. You will get better marks if you choose a more sophisticated text such as a poem, artwork, short story or short-film from a film festival. Try to steer clear of the big 'blockbuster' commercial films...

What is your prescribed text?

Oh dear... :uhoh: That's probably more appropriate for younger grades, to be honest, and won't be seen as a 'sophisticated' text by HSC markers.

Any other ideas? Did I PM you? I can't remember...

(I have Immigrant Chronicle notes if you're interested :spin: )

Really? My Tutor did "looking for Alibrandi" and he achieved band six in his essay... im reading it so far, it relates to immigrant chronicle in many ways....


Any suggestions than?

and yes the notes would be lovely, if you don't mind.
