Hi!

I was just wondering, in the HSC if u had to write a related text and u tok about a text that isn't even made in english, would you get away with it? I mean for examle...if u saw a spanish movie only broadcasted in spain and u used it as a related text in ur hsc, wud they deduct marks off u? I mean I'm not making it up but there's only 1% chance they actually know wat i'm toking about.Suggestions?

its fine 2 have a non-english related text. it doesnt matter if the markers dont know ur text - think about it realistically, unless you've used one of the texts suggested by the board of studies on the syllabus, what's the chance that the marker is going to know your text anyway? you can fabricate your own text and they'll never know. and if you lie about what your found text shows and the marker by some awful chance actually happens to know that text it makes no difference as they arent allowed to deduct marks for it.
