'Analyse how significant past and present issues have affected Aboriginal belief systems and spirtuality today.'

In this we need to include at a copy of a least three written-sources ( both primary and secondary), which have been used to answer this question. we need to have 4-6 quotes or references to support the answer.

Word limit: 750 with deduction of marks if exceeding this!!

Wondering what are some good and solid resources to use so i can get the most out of this word limit>??? Also wondering if anyone has done this assignment and maybe know some goold sources to use which capture the actual essents of the question??
Basically need some help hehehe , thankyou

I think the macquarie book is excellent for primary sources as it contains some quotes from various Aboriginal people.

The Stolen Children -- Their Stories compiled by Carmel Bird is based on the findings of the is based on "Bringing Them Home" report...which may also be worth looking at...it has a lot of first hand accounts of various aboriginies affected by the stolen generation - if you wanted to use the stolen generation in your essay...or the effect of christian missionaries on aboriginal culture etc. If you want to attack it from a different angle and don't want to talk about the stolen generation let me know what you want to focus on and I may have some notes or info for you...

google is your friend....try the official sites for reconciliation (URL escapes me ATM) + USyd has some really good subsites that are run by the Aboriginal Education faculty (addresses have 'koori.usyd' in ...alot of good newspaper articles around reconciliation and the olympics as well (bridge walk in Sept. 2000 comes to mind)

Bringing them home can be obtained on the net if you look hard enough as well

+ you can look at the websites for the various missionary/church groups and you will get stuff as well (hint try the AIM as they are still working on missions)

rights and discrimination of aboriginals

Hey i have decided to talk about 'Stolen Generation' for the past and 'land rights' for the present issue... but i am having a really hard time trying to find resources i need primary and secondary well really the primary i was wondering if anyone has any primary resources for 'stolen generation' and 'land rights' only need one from each
