Is there any 'easy' way of remembering formulas for surface area, volume, area etc.

They're easy enough to remember. Just do questions using those formulas. Then you'll remember.

And if you just really really suck at remembering forumlas that won't be on the formula sheet, change the lyrics from a song you know well to formulas. Not sure how well it will work, but hey its worth a try.

Formula Sheet!
It's the best thing about General.
When we had our half yearlies and we were in the hall at the beginning of the maths exam and the teacher said that the general students had a formula sheet all the mathemetics and extension people groaned...lol.

So do the Physics and Chemistry people, we get a formula sheet AND data sheet.
And even though we are given the formula sheet there is no name for them (just pick the right one), we still gotta derive them.

Oh and the people who are failing General Maths should be the ones groaning.
