I like the new rep regulation.
Asking for rep in the sig, or demanding rep when you don't deserve it is quite the nefarious thing to do.

Basically, the rep system is designed to reward students that make valuable contributions to the forums and to each other - you dont get anything except recognition and reppoints - check your User CP to see how many rep points u have

minai is a super mod. he got a lot of those points by default because obviously mods are valuable to the forum.

you don't get rep points by posts, someone could have 10 000 posts and no rep points

That's not entirely true - even mods have to earn rep. The only people with a high level of default rep are the admins, who obviously deserve it
