I really wish there was a more... erm... intelligent party that was anti-immigration. I mean, if you put One Nation in power, I think Australia would just assplode.absolution* said:Refer to sig.

Greece never fought Australia in any warPwarYuex said:When the huge post-WW2 migration came, Italians, Greeks, and other western Europeans ... correctly said to themselves 'Well, they accepted us into their country, when they even fought us in wars. We have to prove ourselves.'
Immigrants have as much right to be here as anglo-saxon Australians, since we are all immigrants (except the Aborigines)!PwarYuex said:Since we let those two main immigrant groups in, we are now correctly seen as the garbage-tip of the world -- if you pay the fee for a flight and claim that you some how deserve to be here, you're in.
i doubt most current white australian citizens would pass such a citizenship test... study australia's laws - everyone to recite the trade practices act backwards?Australian "citizenship" is a valued privilege, to qualify it will be necessary to study the Australian Constitution and laws and after five years pass a test in English and swear allegiance to the crown and flag. This will eliminate the expense of printing material in foreign languages, and ensure assimilation and employment of those genuinely wanting to become a good citizen in their adopted country.
yay!!! let's reintroduce the white australia policy!! our glorious past!!!ONE NATION will abolish multiracialism and the Racial Discrimination Act of 1975, based on the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, as it is unconstitutional. We will replace it with a policy of assimilation, in which it will be made clear to all those applying to migrate to Australia that: Coming to Australia is a privilege that gives them an overriding unifying commitment to Australians, to its past, current interests and future first and foremost
