My school's is so stupid, sometimes i wonder if the teachers even read the essays before writing the stupid comments and marks.

As you can imagine my marks were hopless:
Paper one
Sec1- 9.5/15
Sec2- 7/15
Sec3- 12/15
Paper two
8/20
13/20
14/20
Total- 63.5/105

What makes it worse is that a certian racist bitch gives high marks to all these skips who barley spell, she can't stand all Asians from Lebs to Japaness.

She is going to get it all back on muck up day (wicked laugh)
Every one is looking foward to making it the worst day of her life
(more wicked laughing):D :D :D PAYBACK

A ll the ppl in this forum did pretty damn good in their english how do you do it? I just remeber at my school hardly anyone passed their English in standard not sure about exact marks cos I do adv, but I know for a fact that teachers at my school are hard markers cos they've been given out bad marks for like the past 20 yrs or so, they are well experienced HSC markers who used to teach at various selective schools, especially the head of English, and I think the average was like 32%, and they even gave this guy like 2/20, surely it deserves much more. I read his response and I thought that he should have gotten higher, but I'm no expert on English.

I didn't do too well in my trials. But I still managed to come 15th or 16th out of 71, for the Standard course at my school.

These are my results:
Paper 1: Area of Study
Section I- 6.5/15
Section II- 8/15
Section III- 9/15

Paper 2: Modules
Section I- Dialogue: 14/20
Sction II- Nonfiction, Film, Media or Multimedia: 16/20
Section III- Consumerism: 12/20

Yeah :(
I stuffed up a bit didn't I? Especially in Paper 1

practice! and then you'll find that there's only a certain number of ways a question on each module can be asked.

or maybe my teachers are just really leniant markers. they say it comes down to a scaling process. they compare the two best and see if the other one deserves a higher mark than the other - or something like that. i dunnnnoo. but apparently, i don't write as much as the others.

eheheh, can't even spell lenient.

ohh that. that was a fluke! before the exam, we were practising on some questions and one of them required us to write a story. so i answered it but not in 40 mins - more like 1.5 hours. and thinking of an idea took a whole day. the question on the trial paper was similar so i just used that story, but slightly modified to satisfy the question.

it's about this little 3 year old girl who interprets things differently, causing an adult to change her perspective on a particular issue. the teacher said it had too much dialogue to fully deserve a 15.

it was 2 and a half, i think. yeh, around there. but coz it had heaps of dialogue, the lines were only about a quarter filled.
