I've seen it, don't have it, any book that says "Learn the course in 24 hrs" or Revise the topic in 1 month is a load of shit, it really depends how bright the student is, and it's not guranteed it works for all.

I've never been through any of the "X in a Month" books. I wonder how good they are, sometimes... but I'd rather rely on myself when studying.

i think it is what you make out of it. Like it has useful questions and practice in it. It doesn't have everything but it is just another resource to practice questions

i wonder how many people out there are actually doing this.. usually when we do science subjects we follow the syllabus and we do actually have the syllabuses (or syllabi? nevermind ;)) mee find going through the maths syllabus pretty useful..

hehee.. i thought the whatever in a month series is dodgy.. but i had a look @ it recently and it's actually pretty good ;)

I have it and I think it's good... you obviously have to know the stuff first, it's not 'Learn HSC Mathematics in a Month', but for revision questions and stuff like that it's great :)

yeah it looks good, but i'm not using it for my revision (unless i need to touch up on something) because u actually need to do quite a bit a day, and i think that time could be better spent on doing past papers

lol @ this book. It is total bulloney. Even a year 10 student can write a more value-for-money book.

Totally Ridiculous. Maths in Focus all the way :)

Hehehehe, my dad is a maths teacher, and he has a copy of almost all those books, along with about 10 more. Of course, it doesn't help unless I actually study them. I agree with destination- the best revision (once you have a grip on the course) is doing past papers.
