I won't be using it just before the HSC lol but just for use over the whole year. Does it contain the key information for HSC success because I've ready a small part of it and it looks alright plus it has heaps of practice questions.

It'll be good and useful I spose.

But it's definately not necessary.

I didn't use it, neither did my friends and we all still did pretty well.
The practise questions are the most important thing really. If you know HOW to structure ur answers correctly then you'll get brilliant results.

I don't know why they call in revise in a month...

I revised IPT in a week and still came out with ok marks.

I bought one for chem exactly one month b4 the hsc exam but had no time to look at it lol...it is a good book i didnt do everything i was meant to obviously coz of other exams etc but it will be a worthwhile buy if you intend on using it particularly starting now and not one month before

hmm i bought Revise in a month about a week ago but......

Could anyone give me a couple of tips on how to do well in HSC. I mean i do study but im affraid im not studying the correct thing. I'd like to know from a person whos done HSC. As for my teacher, i wouldnt call him a teacher, dunno when my principle gonna realise to get another one. Anyhow Please advice on how to do well and what to study for, specifics.

Don't use those books as your bible (if you want to go really well). They are only meant for last minute revision because they don't go into great detail. As I said in another thread books like excel and this aim to give students enough knowledge to get band 4 tops, using revise in a month alone will not give better than a mid band three..Use as many resources as you can and definitely don't rely on the revise in a month.
