a kid in my class said, it is like looking through a stainglass window. If we are looking at different angles, we have a different view of the world.

i've always thought the most fascinating philosophical conflict between local and global is that of freedom and constraint.
like global has emphasis on liberty and personal fulfilment whereas local is all about subservience, obedience, tradition?
