damn :( when are they going? that doesnt really leave any senior staff remaining :(

Cool, no more maths though? Raeburn was going to be teaching linear operators, but they haven't organised anyone to replace him yet. Since they have to keep the course running at least this year, it might be brailey since he's doing hilbert this year. Eugene is replacing raeburn for DE's though :(

No idea when they're actually leaving, though david and aiden will be around until at least the week before semester starts.

Raeburn was the best for DE's. I did it last year with him.

Linear operators is the only maths subject im doing this year as (I'm using up one of my 3rd year maths electives with a 4th year eng subject that I would not have any room for otherwise.)

I have already done 4 3rd year maths subjects: DE's, Hilbert, Topics, Topology, So i'm pretty close to finishing my maths degree.

It looks like you will have a nice year of maths ahead of you this year :)

nah, it was just a little booklet thingy from the print shop and cost like $8 or something..it's a whole pile of readings for the course..it could've changed though..the one i got had been changed from the year before :s
