well the other members of the beatles were okay players. nothing outstanding about them, they never did anything wrong, but they never did anything really amazing.
keep in mind i'm only talking about their individual abilities at their respective instruments, NOT about their music or performence as a group.

But without the Beatles and George Harrison, half the people on the list wouldn't be there. It's the 100 greatest guitarists, not the 100 most musically or technically accomplished

Yea, Paul McCartney was a fucking good bass player.

All their vocals were good though if you count that as an instrument.
