apparently less than 5% of the greatest songs of 'all time' (or at least the past 5 or so decades) were written after 1990. i guess people no longer write songs that are any good. almost 20% of the songs written after 1990 on that list were from nirvana. so i guess you need to be nirvana to write good songs these days....
I doubt anyone who had any say in that list grew up in the 90s.

Im a big Dylan fan, but I was very suprised when Like a Rolling Stone got number one, especially since its probably the weakest song off Highway 61 Revisited.

I love Dylan, but nothing he wrote counts as the "best rock song of all time"

I can't believe Satisfaction is number two. Wtf is that? Stairway to heaven - 31 and Born to run - 21? Crazy.

What's worse is that this list will soon become the bible for non-conformist teens who are trying to define their music tastes. Much like Rolling Stones' previous list of the greatest albums of all time. What bullshit.

cos we know how they love their 'greatest' lists!!!!

anyone seen it? i actually thought this one was pretty good... lots of beatles, as always, but its all good - anyone got some thoughts?

i was psyched to see bob marley get a few mentions, plus 'good vibrations' by beach boys
Haven't seen it, but I'm sure it was shit.

EDIT: Just saw it, and no Pearl Jam. That's just pathetic.
