What are some good romantic objects that should be placed on things like the table during dates?

Are candles and flowers played out and cliche?

I was thinking I get an old bong and put a couple roses in it as the centerpiece of a dinner.

Why don't you try these objects:

Candles, flowers & chocolates r a little cliche but some ppl still find that romantic. To make the setting truly romantic u need 2 find out what that person thinks is romantic, not just what u think that they will like. Even havin their fav music or their fav book displayed may get them in the mood. If u r stuck 4 ideas though, u should stick with the traditional displays of romanticism
