Im doing 'romulus, my father' as a text and my teacher told me a technique of gaps ans silences in the book. Christine's voice is not heard and is dominated by Romulus. but i dont no how the composer does this and what is this effect on the viewer. Can someone who has read Romulus my father please help??

i dont know if this will help you,
but another gap is like the twenty year gap where gaita was studying overseas, and he comes back decades later to mark christina's grave.
