hey.
i want an overall atar of >99. roughly what percentage i will have to get to achieve in each assessment and exam i do to be safe.

i am doing adv. english 77/186, bio 9/189, chem 10/67, MX1 9/66, SOR1 2/90, business studies.
my school is ranked in the 200 's

The HSC is all about ranks, so you would probably need to be coming in the top 2 (top 3 at the minimum) of all your subjects (considering your school rank is 200ish) to be looking at 99.

You do know 99+ ATAR is like the best 1000 or so in the state?

You'd be wanting to come 1st and 2nd in all your subjects, especially with your school's rank.

You need to pull up your marks in English to have any hope of a high ATAR (it always counts too!)

I'd really, really focus on improving your English rank a lot, and with a bit of work in your other subjects you should be able to push those up to top 3.

Yep you really have to improve English a LOT and SOON, for your other subjects I'd say about top 3 or 4 will be alright since your cohort sizes are really big.

I would expect the MINIMUM to be:
English: 6-7/186
Biology: 7-8/189
Chemistry: 3/67
Maths Extension 1: 5/66
SOR1: 5/90

Currently, English alone can probably pull you out of the 99 range.

i'd aim for top 10 in eng and bio, top 5 chem, mx1, sor
