my router keeps cutting my internet connection...

it must have something to do with the settings? but im not sure because i dont know much about computers

my router is a D-Link 704P

i have the same probelm, with a netgear wireless 54mbps

it just cuts out at random times 4 no reason

Do you have more than one computer on the network? Does it happen when one of then turns off or on?

Have you tried pushing the reset button and re-entering all the info from your ISP?

Have you tried your ISP's tech support?

nope that does not affect it

oh something i forgot to mention...

it cuts off at regular intervals of 29-30 minutes

no that does not relate to me...its solely a router problem since it drops out at regular intervals, and once i reboot the router, the net connection is back
