has anyone done this?
just wondering where there is some info on it google came up with crap and so did the tafe site. just wondering where you do it (in sydney), how much it costs ect. any help would be great.

also should i do this before applying for a job in abar or after? thx

Yeah I did this a while ago.

I was looking through the herald the other day in the classifieds, and there are a stack of ads for doing it. Its between about $90 and $130.

You can usually do it through a club if you get a job there in sydney too. (I'm not from sydney. They had some notices on the board during our HSC for people to sign up through 'REACH for training' and our Community Recruitment College.)

If you want to work anywhere with pokies, you'll probably need the RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) as well.

Just make sure that whatever you get is L.A.B Approved.

You won't get a job in a bar without it.

Nup they won't hire u if you don't have your RSA. It's piss easy anyway lol open book test. Do your RCG while you are at it because if you work at a pub or club you will need it too.

It's sooooooo easy. When I did it the guy gave people so many hints he was almost telling you the answers lol! And it was open book!!! The only problem is the boredom factor.

go to www.reachonline.com.au RSA is $45 and RCG is $45 I have done them both

rather boring but you need RSA to be employed it is a legal requirement for working behind a bar.

saw an ad in the paper for RSA - $70
you have to do it before you apply for a job though
it usually specifies in the job ad

yeah i did my rsa and rcg in one go for $140.
They are both 6 hours long, and you do get a few breaks, oh and yeah the test is open book but only for 10 minutes.
You need 60% + to pass your rsa and 80% + to pass your rcg.

i did rsa/rcg/bar and cocktail course (5 days) at Alex Baumont in the city for $350.
