Studies in America did show that when abortion was legalised in the 70s, crime and such went down slightly. They're attributing the drop to a reduction of the number of broken families, neglected children, etcetera etcetera.
I'm still trying to work out how we're going to become a Muslim country...How much of a percentage do Muslims make up of the Australian population? My guess is it's fairly small.
