i think that Absolution's "fuckin' crazy" description is more appropriate in this case.
Forget about 12 seconds...i couldn't solve one if you gave my 12 months.

Can't solve those things for shit.

But they are lots of fun to stare at.

I think it'd be cool to make a range of rubiks cube inspired furniture.....

hmm..i have a rubik's cube too and i can solve one face on my own no problems....but to solve the whole thing, i need to look at the small book with the instructions to solve it (even then i stuff i up!).

i reckon the 12s jap guy thing is real....the shows/challenges the japanese people can come up with are just amazing!! (and i do remember on the small booklet i got the record was something along the lines of 15seconds or something...i got my rubik's cube quite a few years ago)

Mm, it's been a while since I played with one...

Back when I could still remember how to do it (a couple of years back), it took about 2 mins, max. Then I found a better, more efficient (and hence faster) way of doing it, and started memorising that one instead...ended up playing with other puzzles instead somewhere along the way.

Maybe I'll pick it up again...

i can do the 3x3x3 one in 3-5 minutes, not as good as rubix hey! if you're still looking to solve it, don't concentrate on faces, do layers. don't know about 4x4x4 but i've only ever heard of layering in 3x3x3.
btw, does anyone have a 4x4x4 rubix cube they don't want and could sell to me? please pm or email.

they show you all the finger tricks and moves required to solve a rubix's cube.
i memorised these back a while ago and could do a complete cube in about 40 seconds.
