sacrificial anodes and ganising (1 Viewer)

Can anyone tell me the difference between Sacrificial Anodes and Galvanising, as far as I have read all I know is that besides the similar principle of making the protected iron as the cathode, gavanising has another protection when zinc is used which further protects the iron using it's passive oxide layer, so is there any other differences between the two ?? thanks for the help.

Galvanising covers the whole surface, sacraficial anodes do not.
