Say if someone doing bkground Chinese comes 1st in NSW, (1 Viewer)

does that person still get scaled down?? If yes, by how much? My Chinese teacher said that the student who came FIRST in NSW last year got 75...and the aligned mark was 92. So what is the scaled/final mark? And do they scale your mark according to your raw mark or aligned mark???

if the student came first and got an aligned mark of 92, then his final hsc mark would be 92.
They scale your mark according to your raw mark, which you dont get, unless you obtain this information via the freedom of information act, but they should be scaled up nicely.

Then everyone will be scaled up in the bandings ,right?That's great for me doing HSC Chinese Background as we have the worst chinese teacher who made most of the people fail in chinese in my class.
