If I use jargons (that the marker may not know, e.g. military jargon) in a creative writing task, will marks get deducted?

you shouldn't, as long as it's somewhat obvious that you're using jargon and not random made up bs

No, jargon will actually be encouraged if it adds to the atmosphere/characterisation of your persona.

But only use it if it has a purpose - don't just use it for the sake of using it or it will leave a bad impression on the marker

I really doubt that you will lose marks but the creative piece will sound a lot more convincing! And that could lead to another mark or so
