but rememba each yr its becomin a bit more knowledge based than the yr b4!! we didnt have 2 learn much.. but now i'm not sure

in the case of maths it is no longer content based its only skills based or somethign

i remmeber teacher telling us that

yeah see whereas on 01 maths was purely content based (except obviously for non-calculator) and so if you hadn't paid attention you were screwed

I can't really remember what the 2000 one was like, only I still don't know what I could possibly have gotten wrong it it :p. It's one of the easiest maths tests I've ever done in my life!

hmmm...maths is not that hard anyway.,..if u know the concepts and formulae..u r fine..but science is NOT SO FINE...
it has all those long essay type answers u have to write...and they r like 5-8 marks each.

Essays my ass, gee i miss my extended responses, they were/are so easy like 3-4 paragraphs/1page (most of the time anyway) tops

.......and if by some slip of the memory you happen to forget those formulas, they are written on a piece of paper in front of you.
Its not a memory test its an applied knowledge test.

right man.. like you said SINCE YEAR 9 and sc is stuff we learnt in year 9 and 10 so if we need to apply formulas from the sc syllabus thing then what is there to forget? year 8?

All you need to know is basic formulas that they give you.
If you havent i highly reccomend looking at some old SC, trust me i did last year and it made it less daunting, casue i realised that the majority of the questions are really easy, and you say to your selves "gee i can do this, my yearlys are harder" no go now me year 10 and read over the old SC, you don't have to do them just get an idea of the types of and style of questions they like to ask.

yeah it is a lot harder we had like a 2.5 hr exam on all year 10 topics or sth and every1 only justt finished 0.o

i just rememebr coming out with a sore hand
