hey does anyone know to what extent scaling happens at uws?

for b2b i need 15/50, because i did well in the internals. it was difficult but i know if scaling happens ill get through.

same with services, that was a very difficult exam and im very very anxious.

i know for a fact scaling didnt happen with my law and my strategic, but others i suspect so.

can anyone here ejaculate some knowledge?

loool awesome choice of words..

i am not sure what the scaling is like, but I have been scaled up
eg last semester i went from 34/50 to 44/50.. for my assesment grade.. and then in teh same subject the test was scaled up by 10marks.. so this is an example

Some schools follow bell curves...

Some don't bell curve..

Units with a small cohort do not scale at all...

Very large units scale more...

It is dependent on how everyone else doing the unit does...

It is dependent on the nature of the test...

Read the unit outlines and uni policies (i'm assuming you haven't already given that you asked this question) They make it pretty clear that it's not something that you can just say how it'll work as it depends on the unit, the students, the number of students, the assessment type, the assessment weighting, the course, the sschool the units in etc etc etc
