The facts of the case are ------ their is little evidence relating to 5 of the bali 9 - and the 4 that got busted with the drugs strapped to them ----------- a few of them claim they had no choice.

its not as if the whole 9 got busted with drugs strapped to them.......

corby on the other hand..............was busted with drugs in her bag and alledgedly confessed.

therefore based on the evidence -------- corby is the most guilty undre the law...

just because she is female -- and she cries and shit..............doesnt mean she is innocent.

legal systems should be based on the law............not on...the sex or race of the accussed.


Anyone who thinks corby is innocent but the bali 9 are all guilty should be ashamed of themselves..........because ur not looking at the evidence.

Yes, and that is why she will be found guilty.
Under our court system, she might have been found innocent.. then again under our court system we would of had the cops examine the inside bag for finger prints, and do an analysis of the pot its self to find out where it came from

I agree, that much of the reason people like corby over the bali 9 is because she's female and cries alot. The only female in the bali 9, is extremely ugly, if she was better looking, i believe the outpouring of emotion from australia would be tremendous.

Corby is ugly too, it just that the proof points to her being innocent whereas the ppl in the Bali 9 who had the larger amount of herion were on there 3rd trip to indo in like 5 months (There excuse we where on holiday! What 3 trips 5 months, can anyone say bullshit?)

The only part that gives her some doubt is that she could have sold the pot for more in australia, however maybe she didn't know this? or maybe she just couldn't be bothered and wanted to start selling in bali?

Who knows.

Dude, there was that guy who came forward saying he heard two guys saying they set her up or someshit about the weed only meant to go from Brissi to Sydney (seems quite plausable)

That guy that came forward... saying he heard two guys saying they set her up, while that's a plausable scenario, I think you'll find that the source (being a rapist on a life sentence) will taint that peice of evidence. He also didn't name any names... it was rather pathetic.

Him getting stabbed, bashed does give that peice of testimony a little more backing, especially if they can find out WHO stabbed him & WHO bashed him and see if they can connect these people with him. However - Rapists get bashed in prison all the time.

The whole thing IMO seems to be a rapist trying to get some time in the spotlight, some fresh air, and perhaps movement to a nicer facility.

I would agree with you, but seeing as a sophisticated investigation was underway which led to this conclusion, and many people arrested pleaded guilty, it is highly likely that the police are in the right and more importantly we expect them to act as they have. Smuggling is an important issue. Months ago you were talking about how the 'little' people in mac fields were victimised by police, and that real criminals should be the focus. Smugglers therefore are a major problem. If you stop them, you limit drug supply.

What does the law abiding citizen have to hide? Why should they worry about the cops searching them (I know its an inconvience and if done in public gives the impression that ur a criminal even when your not, so do it in private)
