Not sure if this has been done before. Anyway what are your school hours.

Riverview is as follows

1st Period: 8:40 - 9:35
2nd Period: 9:35 - 10:30
Recess: 10:35 - 10:55
Tutor Groups/Year assemblies: 10:55 - 11:10
3rd Period: 11:10 - 12:05
4th Period: 12:05 - 1:00
Lunch: 1:00 - 1:40
5th Period: 1:45 - 2:40
6th Period: 2:40 - 3:30

Is this a long day compared to your school?

On thursdays there is only 3 periods and sport goes for about 2 hours

Theoretically school starts at 8:40am and finishes at 3:05pm, but SO many people do subjects at other schools (which means school starts at 8am or finishes at 4:15pm or 5pm) and everyones timetables are so random that there is no one time when the whole of one grade (only grades 11 & 12 - Senior School) are at the school at the same time!

Example from my timetable that pretty much never changed:

Monday: 10:15 to 17:00 (with one free period in between)
Tuesday: 10:15 to 16:15
Wednesday: 8:40 to 10:10 then 15:00 to 17:00
Thursday: 8:00 to 13:10
Friday: 10:15 to 3:05 (with one free in between)

Equaled to about 7 free periods, which I enjoyed very much!

And there were no before school classes (because all the buses don't get to school until about 8.40, and there is no public transport or any other way to get to school unless you drive, and most people live atleast 30km from school) but there were English Extention classes after school, and leading up to when PIPs and MDPs were due there were Society&Culture, SD&D, D&T classes after school, and then the occaisonal Eng (Adv) class to watch King Lear (haha!! suckers!!) and Modern History to watch Black Adder and similar "completely educational" programs...

oh and on tuesdays p2 starts at 8:50 because we skip homeroom and all classes are 15 mins earlier.. so we leave 15 mins early

What is the earliest time any school has started? And what is the latest any has finished? (normal lessons, not like co-curriculur, after school things). Try beating ours: 8:15 start, 3:15 finish. And if you have English Extension 2 or History Extension, until 4:30.

also we only have one period on thursday so i get home at like 10.20am
and school finishes at 2.40pm on friday

eep. i wish we had 1hr periods like mcauly. our time table was gay, no variation, like every subject every day basically

our deputy changed our bell times more than he changed his undies..
but a 'normal' uninterrupted day is 8:55-3:20
this consists of a 15min roll call at the start, 2 50min periods, recess, 2 50min periods, lunch, 2 50min periods, home.

fri used to be no compulsary classes for seniors, only option seminars, the rest of the school had, late start (staff meeting) and then 3 45min periods, then sport.

but we changed sport draws, so fri became thursday (for the last two weeks of my schooling life i got a new timetable...retarded) and the last period on tuesday became a compulsary first period for everyone on thursday. or something....

i am so confused now...
